JOB DETAILS
The National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) is looking for a qualified candidate to fill their vacant position of an administrator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recording dictation in short hand and transcribing it in type written form
Typing from drafts, manuscripts or recording from dictation machine
Processing data
Operating office equipment
Management of e-office
Management of office protocol
Managing office petty cash
Handling telephone calls and appointments
Ensuring securing of office records, documents and equipment
Undertaking any other secretarial duties that may be assigned
An officer at this level may be required to work for more than one officer
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies or a Bachelor of Business and Office; Management from a recognized institution;
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science plus a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognized institution;
A certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
Two (2) years’ experience in similar position
