The National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) invites applications form suitably qualified candidates for a short term contract of 4 months for the positions of Election Monitors.

Requirements for the Election Monitor Job

  • Certificate in any of the social sciences

  • Kenya School of Secondary Education (KCSE), minimum mean grade.

  • Previous experience of election monitoring assisgnments will be an added advantage

  • Knowledge in use of computer applications excellent report writing skills and demostrable competence in making presentation

  • Good record of conduct

Responsibilities for the Election Monitor Jobs

  • Participate in election related trainings organized by the commission

  • Gather data using standard instruments from assigned stations,

  • To prepare daily and weekly reports on the field assignments

  • Participate in monthly briefings organized by the commission
