COMMON INTERVIEW MISTAKES
1. Failure to make eye contact
During an interview it’s recommended you make eye contact with the interviewers and it will show how courageous you are, failure to that it shows your shy and afraid.
2. Have little knowledge about the company
Always study about the company or organization before attending an interview otherwise you will be seen like an uninterested candidate.
3. Bad posture
Bad posture during an interview tends to show you’re a little bossy or does not care about the job interview.
4. Over explaining why you lost your job
Avoid explaining too much about how you lost your job this may lead you to saying unnecessary comments.
5. Not showing enough interest or enthusiasm
During an interview the way you answer the questions as well as explaining your points show if you’re really interested in the job.
6. The way you dress, act and walk towards the door
First impressions determine your personality, make sure you dress appropriately and act accordingly.
7. Use of too many hand gestures
Avoid using too many unnecessary hand gestures since they lack meaning. Use minimal or none hand gestures as you can.
8. Lack of concentration
Touching your hair, checking your nails throwing your pen up and down shows lack of concentration. Be calm, simple and comfortable throughout the interview.
